Brighter Days Training equips individuals, organizations, schools, and communities with the skills and tools they need to create positive change for the children, youth, and families they serve. Our nationally recognized training program is the foundation for scaling our mission. Every trained facilitator becomes a force multiplier in the lives of the children they serve.
We teach prevention educators, school counselors, and community leaders how to build trust with children through trauma-informed facilitation, creating emotionally safe environments where children feel seen, heard, and valued.
Our training is ideal for:
Evidence-based and recognized. The CBSG® Program is Listed on SAMHSA's NREPP and reviewed by the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP.) Aligned with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for Pre-K through 12th grade.
Built from real practice. The CBSG® Program was developed by Brighter Days (formerly Rainbow Days) in 1982 and has been refined over four decades of direct service to kids in schools, community centers, and shelters.
Trauma-informed and culturally responsive. The curriculum is multicultural. Group participant handouts and activities are available in English and Spanish.
Practical and applicable. Trainings are engaging, hands-on and built around skills you can apply immediately.
From our most recent program evaluation of children and youth in CBSG® groups:
Brighter Days Training is the sole provider of the CBSG® Program. Brighter Days, Inc. (formerly Rainbow Days, Inc.) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Founded in Dallas in 1982.
