Classroom Connection (no training required)

Developed in 2025, Classroom Connection is the universal classroom-based adaptation of the award-winning CBSG® Program. Designed for students in grades K–12, with social, emotional, and coping skills sessions that benefit every student in the room — not just those identified as at-risk.

Facilitator Training Requirements

Most CBSG® manuals require completed CBSG® Program Facilitator Training to purchase. The exception is Classroom Connection, which requires no prior training. Eligibility is noted on each product below.

Kids' Connection

CBSG® Facilitator Training required

For children ages 4–12 in school and community-based settings. Builds resilience and life skills through small-group, curriculum-based support sessions, facilitated by a trained and caring adult.

Eligibility: must be a trained CBSG® Program Facilitator. Student handouts and activity worksheets are available in English and Spanish.

Youth Connection

CBSG® Facilitator Training required

For youth ages 10–17 in school and community-based settings. Adapts the CBSG® framework for older participants navigating friendships, peer pressure, substance use risk, goal setting, and decisions about their future, facilitated by a trained and caring adult. Eligibility: must be a trained CBSG® Program Facilitator. Student handouts and activity worksheets are available in English and Spanish.

Kids' Connection, Too

CBSG® Facilitator Training required

For children and youth ages 4–15 living in shelters or transitional living programs. Specifically designed for the realities of group homes, family shelters, and other transitional settings — meeting kids where they are, facilitated by a trained and caring adult. Eligibility: must be a trained CBSG® Program Facilitator. Student handouts and activity worksheets are available in English and Spanish.
